About
Aspiring cybersecurity professional interested in becoming a cyber analyst. I’m building a strong foundation in cybersecurity, networking, and risk analysis, with a focus on understanding how to detect and respond to threats. I’m especially interested in how systems are compromised and how to better protect them. I’m continuing to develop my technical skills and looking for opportunities to grow in the cybersecurity field.
Career path
I am currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity Management and Analytics at Virginia Tech. My professional experience includes working as a Survey Interviewer at ICF International, where I collect and document data to support public health research, as well as serving as a Substitute Teacher with Fairfax County Public Schools, where I manage classrooms and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs. I also completed a dental assistant internship at Caring Dental, gaining experience in both administrative and clinical support. Across these roles, I have developed strong skills in communication, data collection, organization, and technology, including experience with Excel and Linux, and I am focused on applying these skills toward a career in cybersecurity and data analytics.
